Is there any Shar'i basis for reciting Surat Al-Fath with the intention of supporting the Mujahideen?

There is no report that the predecessors used to recite Surat Al-Fath for victory. Although the Qur'an in general, and Surat Al-Fath in particular, have great merit, inviting people to something for which there is no evidence from the Book or the is an innovation that must be avoided, because worship is based on divine command.
