What is the ruling on using tambourines (dufuf), clapping, and Quran memorizers walking side-by-side in their honoring ceremony?

Clapping without a valid reason is a matter of scholarly disagreement among jurists. Some have prohibited it, while others have deemed it reprehensible, considering it a form of vain amusement or an imitation of the acts of worship of the people of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance), based on the Almighty's saying: "And their prayer at the House was nothing but whistling and clapping." As for the use of the drum (daf), it is not prescribed except for weddings and among women. Celebrating in this manner involves objectionable elements, and no benefit is seen in it, even if it were free of objectionable elements, for fear of falling into self-admiration and showing off. The principle for recommended acts of worship is that they should be discreet.
