How can one get rid of the intense fear of the rebellious jinn, devils, and darkness, which prevents one from performing the night vigil prayer (Qiyam al-Layl) and the dawn prayer (Salat al-Fajr) in congregation?

You must strengthen your heart with the remembrance of Allah and by adhering to His obedience, for by His remembrance, hearts find tranquility. Fortify yourself with the prescribed remembrances morning and evening, before sleeping, and upon entering the lavatory. Recite Surat Al-Baqarah in your home to expel Satan. Satan's cunning is weak, so seek Allah's help and adhere to the remembrances, such as saying "In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm..." three times in the morning and evening, and "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created" when stopping at a place. Also, seek refuge with the perfect words of Allah that Jibreel taught the Prophet, peace be upon him, and recite the two Mu'awwidhat (Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas). Do not let Satan prevent you from obeying Allah and from congregational prayer.
