What is the way to get rid of the fear of jinn, especially when performing nocturnal acts of worship such as Qiyam al-Layl, knowing that one is committed to prayer, fasting, and zakat?
A believer must achieve (monotheism) and rely on Allah alone, fearing none but Him. This is because fear of anything other than Allah is a satanic whisper. When fear is felt, one should remember the name of Allah and repeat the declaration of Tawhid, as well as the prescribed (remembrance) and du'a (supplications) such as: "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created," "There is no might or power except with Allah," and "Say: Nothing will befall us except what Allah has decreed for us." The Qur'an is a healing for what is in the breasts, and it should be recited with contemplation. It is also recommended to make the supplication: "O Allah, I am Your slave, the son of Your male slave..." Furthermore, one should associate with the righteous to cooperate in goodness. If the fear persists, one can resort to lawful (incantation).
