Does the fear of jinn contradict jihad in the path of Allah? Is one sinful for fearing them? And how can one overcome this fear?
Wishing for martyrdom in the way of Allah is recommended. Whoever sincerely wishes for it, Allah will grant him the stations of the martyrs, even if he dies in his bed. The inherent fear of what harms, such as jinn, carries no sin. To overcome the fear of jinn, one should cultivate courage, trust in Allah, rely on Him, dispel illusions, supplicate to Allah, seek refuge in Him from cowardice, adhere to obedience, and frequently remember Allah, for the remembrance of Allah is a fortress against Satan. Whoever says "There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner, to Him belongs sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things competent" one hundred times a day, it will be a protection for him from Satan on that day. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek refuge in Allah from cowardice.
