What is the ruling on continuing to raise and teach boys despite the suspicious and doubtful glances of people, even with sincerity and good intentions, and is it better to leave them?
Raising children and nurturing the righteous youth is considered one of the most important tasks, especially in times of trials. Allah has commanded us to protect our families from the Fire. While the teacher's educational role is significant, they must not expose themselves to doubts. Rather, a balance between benefit and harm should be struck. If the situation leads to suspicion and gossip, it is not wise to continue in this role, because negative consequences can ruin every good deed, just as the Prophet (peace be upon him) refrained from rebuilding the Kaaba on the foundations of Ibrahim for fear of alienating Quraish. Therefore, the door to ill-conjecture must be closed, and only natural meetings should be held, while directing parents to beneficial lectures and activities, or providing them with useful materials.
