Is it permissible for a woman to breastfeed her child in public places if there is a possibility of her breast being exposed to non-mahram men?

It is not permissible for a woman to expose her breast in front of her mahrams or strangers. However, if she needs to breastfeed her child in front of people, there is no objection, provided she maintains cover. If something is uncovered unintentionally, there is no blame upon her, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Allah has pardoned for my Ummah their mistakes, their forgetfulness, and what they are forced to do."
