Is the father's and brother's demand for the return of gold, the addition of a sum of money for the movables, and the writing of an undertaking not to repeat the abuse considered an injustice to the husband? And is returning to the husband under these circumstances considered an injustice to oneself, even if it is for the sake of raising the son between his parents?

Among the wife's rights upon her husband is good companionship. If a dispute arises between the spouses, wisdom lies in reconciliation, which is better.

If a woman is in her waiting period ('iddah (definition)) due to a revocable divorce, the husband has the right to take her back (review her) without her consent being a condition. The guardian (wali) is not permitted to object or impose conditions that are not binding on the husband. The wife has the right to demand her gold, but this should not be a condition for reconciliation. It is not permissible for the husband to beat or insult her.

If the waiting period has expired, a new contract is necessary for reconciliation. The wife or her guardian has the right to stipulate conditions that do not contradict the contract. The wife's agreement to reconcile for the benefit of her child is commendable.
