What is the wisdom behind permitting marriage to a Muslim, Christian, or Jewish woman, while prohibiting marriage to a Buddhist or any other religion, taking into consideration that the People of the Book in this era are polytheists like the Buddhists? And is this considered a disparagement by Islam of other non- небесных religions?

Allah has permitted Muslims to marry women from among the People of the Book because they are less harmful, and because they share with Muslims the fundamentals of religion and many legal rulings. A divine religion cannot be compared to man-made, earthly laws. Despite the polytheism of the Jews and Christians, as mentioned in the Qur'an, Allah permitted marriage to their chaste women, out of consideration for the original religion and its proximity to Islam. There are many wisdoms behind legislation that we may not comprehend, but the believer is certain that whatever Allah has legislated or forbidden contains a benefit or wards off harm, whether one knows it or is ignorant of it.
