Is it permissible to take a loan from a bank due to dire circumstances and the necessity of paying off debts?

Borrowing from usurious banks is Islamically forbidden. However, it is permissible in cases of dire necessity, where a person's life would be severely affected if they do not take the usurious loan. In such a situation, it is permissible to the extent of the need, bearing in mind that not everything people perceive as a necessity is considered a legitimate necessity in Islamic law.
