What is the ruling regarding a man's statement to his wife, in a state of extreme anger and post-partum bleeding (nifas): "We are divorced," as a form of threat?

Divorce occurs with that statement, because postpartum bleeding (nifas (definition)) and anger do not prevent its occurrence according to the majority of scholars, as long as the one pronouncing the divorce is aware and not overcome in his intellect. However, if by this statement he meant that the couple had been divorced before and he was truthful, then in that case, a new divorce does not occur.
