What is the ruling on adultery for a divorced woman: does it necessitate stoning or lashing?

The punishment for the married fornicator is stoning. To understand the definition of a married fornicator, please refer to Fatwa No. 30433. We advise caution against all causes that lead to falling into immoral acts, and diligence in getting married or returning to one's wife. If that is not possible, then you must fast, seek righteous company, and fill your free time with what benefits you in religious and worldly matters.
