Working in usurious banks is not permissible, and the money earned from them is unlawful. However, some scholars have differentiated between money that is inherently unlawful and money that is unlawful due to the way it was earned, considering that it is not unlawful for someone other than the earner. Therefore, there is no harm in a father who works in a usurious bank spending on his daughter.
