Is it necessary for the grieving wife to complete her waiting period (iddah) in her husband's home after having spent part of it with her family?

The woman whose husband has died must remain in the house where she was living with her husband before his death until she completes her waiting period of four months and ten days, based on the Almighty's saying: "And those of you who die and leave wives behind, they shall wait on their souls for four months and ten [days]." The house attributed to her is the one she inhabits. Therefore, she must return to her husband's house and complete the remainder of the waiting period there, and seek forgiveness for having left it. However, if there is a legitimate reason for leaving, such as fear for her life or property, then there is no blame in completing the waiting period in the house of her husband's family.
