Must I re-recite the Shahada? Is my marriage to the Egyptian man valid? And what is the supplication that can remove physical and emotional pains?

First: You are a Muslim and are not required to repeat the Shahada (declaration of faith), as you have uttered it many times after being convinced of Islam.

Second: Your marriage that took place in January 2010 is valid.

Third: We advise you to pray frequently and read the Quran, and to convince your husband of the importance of your going to the mosque and meeting righteous Muslim women. A husband does not have the right to prevent his wife from going to the mosque if she adheres to the Islamic manners and her going out does not result in any corruption, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Do not prevent the female servants of Allah from Allah's mosques."

Fourth: You have done well by enrolling in online classes to learn Tajwid (Quranic recitation rules), Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), and Islamic history. This is a good way to occupy your time and acquire knowledge that raises one's ranks.

Fifth: Know that a believer is never free from trials, which purify sins and elevate ranks. So, be patient and seek reward from Allah.
