Is the conversion to Islam of a non-Muslim woman who embraced Islam due to her love for a Muslim man and her desire to marry him, and who recited the Two Testimonies of Faith, considered acceptable?

For a non-Muslim to embrace Islam, they must pronounce the two testimonies of faith (Shahadatayn) with firm conviction in them and act in accordance with their implications.

If the sister in question pronounces the two testimonies and acts upon their implications after being taught, such as establishing prayer and fulfilling the religious obligations, then she is considered Muslim.

The brother who established a relationship with this girl must repent from this forbidden act. He must refer the girl to centers for introducing Islam or delegate one of his maharim (unmarriageable relatives) to teach her.

If she becomes righteous, repents, and her Islam improves by fulfilling the obligations and avoiding major sins, then there is no impediment to marrying her, provided she is not from the People of the Book.

However, if she is from the People of the Book (Jews and Christians), it is permissible to marry her on the condition of chastity.
