The verse referred to as the "verse of pronouns" is verse 31 of Surat An-Nur. Makki, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "There is no verse in the Book of Allah, the Exalted, that contains more pronouns than this one; it gathers twenty-five pronouns for believing women, both in the genitive and nominative cases."
