Is it necessary to stop feeding birds in the home's yard if it causes annoyance to a neighbor due to their droppings on his wall, knowing that there is a hadith recommending good treatment of neighbors, and witnessing many birds dying from hunger and thirst?

Feeding birds is commendable in Islamic law due to the reward it entails, as indicated by Prophetic traditions. However, if this results in harm to neighbors, such as offensive odors or damage to walls, then it is obligatory to remove this harm, in accordance with the principle: "There shall be no harm nor reciprocating harm." One should also avoid anything that a neighbor complains about and dispose of food scraps in a distant place.
