Cloudiness (Al-Kudrah) is considered menses if it occurs during the usual period [of menstruation], or if there is no usual period but it coincides with the probable time of menstruation. This is according to the view of the majority of scholars. Some scholars hold that cloudiness is not considered menses, but it is preferable to adopt the view of the majority on this matter.
