What is the ruling on one who swore to commit a forbidden act by fasting a number of days, then swore to abandon completing his oath while fulfilling what preceded of oaths?

The questioner thanked him for his keenness and advised him not to return to the sin. If he swore one oath to fast three days for a specific sin and six days for another sin, then broke either of the two, one expiation is due, unless he intended repetition.
