It is unanimously forbidden to look at an attractive beardless youth (amrad) with lust, as well as to look at a bearded man or a mahram (unmarriageable kin) with lust. This act is a form of sexual deviance, even if it does not reach the level of sodomy (liwat) that necessitates a prescribed punishment (hadd). Fondling and looking with lust may cause the perpetrator to be considered like one who commits the grave indecency (fahishah kubra) if he persists in it.
