What is the ruling on resorting to usurious banks to borrow a sum of money that enables one to own a home in the absence of a permissible alternative, or leaving one's job to benefit from compensation to cover the cost of housing?

May Allah reward you for seeking what is lawful. Know that this will only lead you to outcomes you will praise in this world and the Hereafter. For whoever fears Allah, He will make a way out for him and provide for him from where he does not expect. If leaving the job does not cause you embarrassment or hardship, and you believe that the benefit of leaving it is greater, then it is preferable for you to leave it to settle your debts and search for another job, unless you find someone who will give you a good loan or enter into a Murabaha contract with you. As for taking an interest-based loan, it is not permissible due to the absence of necessity, given the availability of alternatives.
