Is it true that whoever commits sins and boasts about them will not be forgiven, and is there a way out of this situation?

A Muslim keeps away from obscenity and from revealing his sinfulness. He who commits a sin and Allah conceals it for him, then boasts about it and spreads it among people, is deprived of Allah’s forgiveness. For every member of my Ummah will be forgiven except those who make their sins public. Publicizing a sin occurs by disclosing it after Allah has concealed it. Publicizing a sin is a form of disrespect towards Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, whereas concealing it provides protection from disrespect and punishment. He who intends to publicize a sin angers his Lord, and he who intends to conceal it out of shyness before his Lord, Allah will bestow His concealment upon him. Sincere repentance and not exceeding the limits in sins is the way out, and not tearing down Allah’s veil.
