How is the specious argument that woman was created for man, as indicated by the noble verses: "It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that you may find tranquility in her," and "And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them," refuted?

Allah Almighty created women for His worship, and He made them equal to men in religious obligations, considering them their counterparts. This contradicts the notion that women's status in Islam is like that of plants and animals. As for the verse, "They are a 'tilth' for you," it indicates that women and men complete each other, just as the rich complete the poor. This is a divine سنت (established way/tradition) that encompasses all creatures who need someone to regulate their system, which refutes the suspicions raised by the enemies of Islam.
