ما هي أقصر آية في كتاب الله؟

The shortest verse in the Book of Allah is: (مدهامتان) "mudhammatan" [Ar-Rahman: 64]. And from the disconnected letters: (الم) "Alif, Lam, Mim" and (حم) "Ha, Mim". The most concise verse is: (وَقِيلَ يَا أَرْضُ ابْلَعِي مَاءَكِ وَيَا سَمَاءُ أَقْلِعِي وَغِيضَ الْمَاءُ وَقُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ وَاسْتَوَتْ عَلَى الْجُودِيِّ وَقِيلَ بُعْدًا لِلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ) "And it was said, 'O earth, swallow your water, and O sky, withhold [your rain].' And the water subsided, and the matter was accomplished, and it [the ark] rested on the [mountain of] Judiyy. And it was said, 'Away with the wrongdoing people.'" [Hud: 44].
