Is it permissible, in Sharia, for a Muslim girl to continue to know Christian families who treat her kindly and encourage her to do good and draw closer to God?

Affection for Christians and disbelievers in general is Islamically condemned, based on the Almighty’s saying: "You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day loving those who oppose Allah and His Messenger," and His saying: "There has already been for you an excellent pattern in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people, 'Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah. We have denied you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone'." Alliance and companionship with them are forbidden, based on the Almighty’s saying: "O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. Some of them are allies of one another. And whoever of you takes them as allies, indeed, he is one of them," and based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "Do not accompany anyone but a believer, and let no one eat your food but a pious person," and his saying: "A person is on the religion of his intimate friend, so let each of you look at whom he befriends." A Muslim must know the Islamic guidelines for dealing with them and differentiate between being kind and charitable to them and being allied with or affectionate toward them. A Muslim woman must also be careful not to reveal her adornments in front of their women.
