What is the reason for the shade mentioned in the noble Hadith: "Seven whom Allah will shade in His Shade on the Day when there is no shade except His"?

Among the horrors of the Day of Resurrection is the sun drawing near to creation, to the extent of a mile. People will thus need something to shield them from its heat. Therefore, Allah will grant His shade to seven types of people on a Day when there will be no shade but His. They are: a just ruler, a youth who grew up in the worship of his Lord, a man whose heart is attached to the mosques, two men who love each other for the sake of Allah, a man who was invited by a woman of high status and beauty but he said, "Indeed, I fear Allah," a person who gave charity secretly, and a man who remembered Allah in solitude and his eyes overflowed with tears. Scholars have differed concerning the meaning of "His shade." Some have said it refers to the shade of the Throne, while others have said it is something Allah Almighty will create. The first opinion is the most plausible and is supported by the majority of commentators. What is required of a Muslim is to believe in the reported news and strive to perform deeds that will earn them this great virtue.
