Must a girl who has reached puberty and broken her fast in Ramadan make up for the days she missed, and is it permissible to disobey the mother if she prevents her from making them up, claiming she is too young?

If a girl menstruates at nine years of age or older, she is considered an adult and is bound by the Sharia (definition) rulings, such as prayer and fasting. She must make up for the fasts she missed in Ramadan (definition) due to menstruation. She is not obliged to obey her mother if her mother orders her to abandon making up for the fasts, because there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator. She should explain the Sharia ruling to her mother gently and respectfully.
