When a worshiper waits for the Imam in prayer after completing the recitations or supplications, should he repeat the adhkar or suffice with tasbih?

The sayings (dhikr) of prayer include repetitions that are legislated, such as tasbeeh (glorification) and du'a (supplication) after Al-Fatiha in the standing position, and du'a after the tashahhud. It is permissible for the follower (ma'mum) to repeat them until the Imam rises or pronounces the salutation (taslim). As for what is not legislated to be repeated, such as Al-Fatiha and the tashahhud, the follower should not repeat them. Instead, he should occupy himself with reciting what is easy for him from the Quran or with du'a. It is incumbent upon the follower to fill every pillar of the prayer with the appropriate remembrances before the Imam finishes.
