What is the authenticity of the hadith: "Mention the good qualities of your dead"?

The hadith: "Mention the good qualities of your dead, and refrain from mentioning their bad qualities" was narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi.

Al-Tirmidhi said: "This hadith is gharib (strange)." Al-Bukhari said: "Imran bin Anas Al-Makki is munkar al-hadith (his narrations are rejected)."

Sheikh Al-Albani ruled it to be weak.
