What is the ruling on sitting near the window in the second row in the mosque to get cool air that helps with devotion, knowing that the first row will be filled by others, and that the congregants only fill two or three rows?

According to the majority of jurists, the prayer of an individual praying alone behind the rows without a valid excuse is valid, though disliked. This differs from the Hanbalis, who consider it void if it is a complete rak'ah.
