What is the view of the disbeliever towards the Muslim? Is it bad or good, taking into consideration that a human being is born Muslim by nature?
Many disbelievers have a negative view of Muslims, wishing for them to revert to disbelief out of envy. This is why Allah has warned us against befriending them. Humans are born upon fitra (innate disposition), as Allah Almighty said: "So set your face firmly towards the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fitra of Allah upon which He has created mankind." (Quran 30:30). The Prophet (peace be upon him) explained this by saying that every child is born upon fitra, but his parents make him a Jew, a Christian, or a Magian. Therefore, it cannot be said that a disbeliever is a Muslim by fitra; rather, he was born upon it but then deviated from it into disbelief.
