Are clothes that were washed in a washing machine, and from which the soap was not completely removed, considered ritually impure (najis)?

Soiled clothes placed with clean clothes in a washing machine become pure if the impurity itself is removed, even if soap touches them and does not entirely disappear. The important thing is the certainty or strong presumption that the impurity has been removed. Sheikh Ibn Baz issued a fatwa permitting the washing of soiled clothes with clean ones if the washing purifies all of them and removes the impurity. It is preferable to wash soiled clothes separately and clean ones separately, but if they are all washed together and the trace of impurity is removed, that is sufficient.
