Using natural materials like honey and eggs in cosmetic recipes to purify skin and eyes and remove impurities and spots is permissible in Islamic law. Furthermore, this use does not change the shape or color of the eye, but rather cleanses and purifies it and removes impurities. Prophetic hadiths have been narrated regarding the virtue of using kohl (antimony), stating that it brightens the eyesight, stimulates hair growth, and cleanses the eye.
