Must one who experiences transparent vaginal discharge (vaginal moisture) perform istinja' and take protective measures for every prayer, or is wudu' alone sufficient without istinja', with the obligation of performing wudu' for every prayer?

The moisture discharged from the womb is pure (tahir) and invalidates ablution (wudu). It is obligatory to perform wudu for each prayer, unless it is continuous, in which case cleansing (istinja') is not required. As for moisture discharged from the bladder, istinja' and taking precautions are necessary for one who has been negligent. And whoever has a continuous discharge, such as a woman with irregular bleeding (mustahadah) or one with urinary incontinence (sals al-bawl), must wash the area and bandage it. They are not required to repeat these actions for every prayer if they have not been negligent. Pure (tahir) discharges do not necessitate istinja' or changing the bandage, but rather performing wudu for the time of each prayer.
