What should a girl committed to the legal hijab do, who wishes for her daughters to be committed to it in the future, but those who propose to her refuse the condition of the girls' commitment to the legal hijab upon puberty, despite some of them having beards and frequenting mosques, and in her society the legal hijab is criticized?
The hijab is an obligation for the Muslim woman, and it is not permissible to abandon it. Allah Almighty says: (It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error) Al-Ahzab/36, and (But no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission) An-Nisa/65. One must choose a righteous and upright husband who will protect his wife and daughters and fear Allah in raising them. One should not discuss with the suitor the condition of the daughters' future hijab, because there is no need for that if the husband is upright, and because discussing a long-term matter might give the impression of extremism or lack of trust. A husband who accepts a veiled wife is likely not to object to the veiling of his daughters.
