Was Christ Jesus, peace be upon him, baptized with water in the Jordan River by John the Baptist, as is one of the rituals of Christians?

Baptism is one of the Christian rituals, by which they mean immersing the body or part of it in water or sprinkling it. They claim that it purifies the child and makes him grow up pure and free from sins. This is part of their polytheism and corrupt beliefs. They recounted that John, son of Zechariah, peace be upon them, used to baptize people in the Jordan River. Ibn Khaldun mentioned in his history that John the Baptist (John, son of Zechariah) baptized Christ Jesus, peace be upon him, when he was thirty years old.

We point out that even if baptism were proven in previous religions and by prophets, it does not exist in the abrogating law of Islam. Knowing this does not benefit, and being ignorant of it does not harm, nor does any ruling or action depend on it.
