Is it permissible to sell dead (carrion) chickens to feed guard dogs?

Scholars have agreed on the prohibition of selling carrion, citing as evidence the words of Allah Almighty: "Forbidden to you is carrion," and the hadith of Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah and His Messenger have forbidden the sale of intoxicants, carrion, swine, and idols." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) condemned the Jews for selling the fat of carrion after it was forbidden, emphasizing that what is forbidden to eat is forbidden to sell, and its price is also forbidden. Although it is permissible to benefit from carrion in some matters, such as feeding dogs, this benefit does not permit its sale, as it must be given without compensation.
