Is teaching Islamic knowledge considered among the knowledge from which its owner benefits after his death, and is it counted in the balance of his good deeds?

He who studies a science from which Muslims benefit, and is sincere to Allah, is included in the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "When a person dies, his deeds are cut off except for three: a continuous charity, or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him." The continuous charity here is teaching knowledge and imparting it to students, and the beneficial knowledge is evident because he was the means of its transmission, and the righteous prayer for him is the prayer of the people of knowledge and hadith for their shaykhs.
