Is the money my friends received from their appointment in government primary schools with a high school diploma considered lawful (halal) or unlawful (haram) money?

If the girls were appointed through deception or forgery, they are sinful for that, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: “Whoever deceives is not of us.” The salary they received is lawful for them, but they are sinful for the forgery and deception. However, if the salary was approved by the competent authority, it is lawful for them, even if it was before they started work.
