Is it permissible to supplicate against one's spouse and children after they have disavowed their husband and father, especially after he has reached retirement age?

Praying against oneself or one's family is forbidden in Islam, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not pray against yourselves, and do not pray against your children, and do not pray against your wealth. Do not coincide with an hour from Allah in which He is asked for a bounty, and He responds to you." The correct approach is to pray for guidance and righteousness for yourself, your wife, and your children, and to strive for their betterment, with patience, seeking Allah's help, having good expectations of Him, and frequent remembrance of Him.
