What is the ruling on taking wood from uprooted trees on endowed land, knowing that there is a dispute regarding the endowment: whether it is for orphans or a general endowment?

It is not permissible to take firewood from waqf trees except with the permission of its supervisor (nazir). Nor is it permissible for the supervisor to allow the utilization of anything included in the waqf except that which is most beneficial for it, whether the waqf is for orphans or others.
