Does tying a natural rope around the abdomen over an undershirt, beneath a garment, constitute part of kafft al-thiyab (tucking up clothes)?

Tying the waist with a rope under the shirt is not considered kaft al-thawb (tucking up the garment). Tying the waist during prayer with a belt, apron, garment, or tightening a cloak is not disliked. As for tying it with a string or rope at or above the navel, there are two narrations from Ahmad: one is that it is disliked due to resembling the People of the Book, and the other is that there is no harm in it, based on the hadith "Let none of you pray except that he is girthed," and it was narrated from Al-Sha'bi that it used to be said, "Tighten your waists in prayer, even with a headrope."
