Does the prohibition of "al-kaft" in prayer mean not to tuck up one's garments during prayer, or not to enter into prayer while one's clothes are already tucked up?

The prohibition against folding clothes in prayer comes from the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven bones, and not to fold back clothes or hair." The prohibition includes folding clothes and gathering them so that they do not touch the ground during prostration, whether this is done during the prayer or before it. The prohibition has been explained as resembling the posture of the arrogant, or to prevent the garment and hair from prostrating. There is no difference in the ruling between rolling up sleeves and other forms of folding, and the prohibition is general, encompassing everything that falls under the meaning of kaff (folding/tucking).
