How is the legal inheritance of two plots of land to be distributed among the wife, two sons, and five daughters, taking into consideration the expenses of the sons' and daughters' education, building a house for one of the sons, and assisting the other in marriage?

What you spent on the education and marriage of your children are expenses, not gifts, and equality is not obligatory in expenses among children. Rather, it should be according to need. Likewise, these expenses are not deducted from a gift or inheritance. If you wish to give some of your property to your children during your lifetime, then justice must be observed among them, by giving to all of them, and for the female, either the same as the male or half of it, according to two opinions among scholars. It is preferable not to divide your wealth during your lifetime, so that it may be divided after your death according to the ordinances of Allah. There is no harm in accommodating your child who needs housing on the second floor, but it is not permissible to gift it to him unless justice is achieved between him and his brothers and sisters. It is permissible to gift your wife whatever you wish without the obligation to equate her with your children in the giving, as equality is obligatory only among children.
