Is it true that glorifying the Prophet (peace be upon him) 1000 times daily emancipates one from Hellfire, and what is the ruling on continuing this glorification with the intention of drawing closer to Allah and out of love for the Prophet, after having begun with the intention of fulfilling a worldly need?

Increasing the prayers upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is religiously desirable, and it is not correct to limit it to a thousand prayers, as there is no authentic basis for that. The hadith (definition): "Whoever invokes blessings upon me a hundred times, it will be written between his eyes that he is free from the Fire," is weak. Therefore, it is not appropriate to commit to a specific number, but rather, increasing them with the intention of fulfilling needs and drawing closer to Allah suffices to remove worries and forgive sins.
