The claim of learning or overcoming apathy by watching pornographic films is a false claim; knowledge is available in books of and Fiqh. Among the harms of these films are corrupting the viewer's disposition, hardening their heart, making them lose interest in what is lawful, and craving what is forbidden. Their harm is greater for those who are not married. One must avoid places of arousal, lower the gaze, and practice chastity.
