Which verses in the Qur’an require us to prostrate upon recitation?

The prostration places in the Quran are fifteen. There are hadiths that mention this, but there is disagreement about the authenticity of these hadiths, especially concerning the existence of two prostrations in Surat Al-Hajj. Scholars have agreed on the legitimacy of prostration in ten of these places, and the prostration of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, has been confirmed in other surahs, such as those in Al-Mufassal. Despite the weakness of the chain of narration for some hadiths, the practice of the Ummah has attested to them, with the exception of the second prostration in Surat Al-Hajj, for which no clear evidence from the Sunnah has been reported.
