Is a female soldier considered to be imitating men?
A woman's work in the military field is not considered an imitation of men, provided she adheres to the legal , avoids forbidden mixing and seclusion, does not wear men's attire, and is cautious about displaying her adornments, based on the Almighty's saying: "And do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance" and "And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to draw their headcovers over their chests." This is also supported by what was narrated in the : "Allah curses men who imitate women and women who imitate men."
