Is turning away from advising worshipers who resemble dogs in prostration considered a sin, knowing that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade that, but they are older than me and I am shy to guide them?

It is stated in the Two Sahihs, on the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Be moderate in prostration, and let none of you spread his forearms as a dog spreads them." The spreading of the forearms like a dog during prostration is disliked (makrooh). This is when the worshipper places his forearms flat on the ground, as a dog does when it prostrates. The person who does this should be advised gently and kindly. However, if he is not advised, there is no sin upon the one who abstains from advising.
